Sunshine to Dark Clouds and Rain! The Adventure Continues!

This last weekend we went north to the cool pines to enjoy
cooler weather. We started with Walnut Canyon, sunshine
and blue skys to tall pine trees, ferns and dark clouds and rain.

From sunny and blue skies to Snow Bowl

Tried to get a picture of the trees growing under the deck

of the midway chair lift landing. The signs were kind of

interesting, "Don't let poles drag" and " Keep tips up".

They loose their meaning without all the snow.

We tried to take a picture of ourselves, I know it is not

the best, Ben and Caitlin seem to have a talent for taking

these kinds of shots. Wish you would have been with us.

Mother Nature in all her glory!

Going up the chair lift we were in the sunshine with no

coats and coming down we got caught in the rain.

We went down into Hart Prairie next and the ferns

at least 3 to 4 feet tall. We were looking for the tree

that David carved our names in many, many years ago.

It was there last year, but so many tree have fallen down

that we could not find it.

This is why we love to go up to the San Francisco Peaks.
