Isaac Baptism!!!

Last weekend we went up to Cortez for Isaac's Baptism. We arrived Sat. morning and spent some time with him and the family. Then it was time to get ready for the Baptism. We got him a white shirt, new CTR tie and a CTR soccer tie tack. So off we went to the church and it was a great Baptism. Grandpa Griffin gave the talk on Baptism and then Jake baptized him and then Nathan gave the talk on the Holy Ghost. Jake, Grandpa Griffin, Grandpa Miller, Nathan and the Bishop confirmed Isaac and gave him the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Jake gave Isaac a beautiful blessing. We went home and Mary came over and we spent the evening together. Isaac your Grandma and Grandpa Miller love you so very much and are so very proud of you and your decision to be Baptized. Stay close to Heavenly Father, follow the commandments and HE will always be with you and bless you.

What a beautiful family:)

Isaac's Birthday!!

Jake and Isaac came down the week before his birthday to go to a Suns game. David got tickets five rows up from the court and we sat right behind the Magic's team. Before we went in the arena, Isaac was able to shoot some hoops and was really good at putting the ball in the hoop. He received a string backpack.
Isaac taking in the opening announcements of the team

in his new Suns hat...
Dwight Howard just before he took off his sleeves

and shoes and threw them into the crowd..Jake was

about 3 feet from getting one of the shoes and sleeves.

What a great picture and a fun time, even

though the Suns lost:(
When we got home Jake and Isaac had some one on

one time on the ATV.... They love making dust!

Grandpa dicided to join them and they went on

a ride down to the Verde River under the underpass

on the freeway. I was a great end to a fun weekend.

CHRISTMAS AT GRANDMA & GRANDPA'S HOUSE!

Christmas was great this past year. Everyone was here except for Katie and Sam and their families. We sure did miss them. We can hardly wait until we can all be together again in the year 20?? We started off the season with trip to Anthem and the 100 foot tree there. Deanne and the children came early in the week and so we made cookies, dipped pretzels and set out Luminairos(spelling?) Jake came on Christmas Eve and we did the Night Before Christmas reading, goodies for Santa. Nate, Lori and Reese came on Christmas Day, along with Josh and Chani(spelling, sorry)and their children. Colton Finch and Jacob Hall, also part of the family, came over. Here are some pictures of the whole weekend....
We had more chocolate on them than the pretzels.

Making luminarios and setting them out... The night time picture

was a blur...Jake and David helped the grandchildren light them all,

66 total.

New pajamas on Christmas Eve...
The story of Christ's birth.
Grandpa and Lacie just relaxing after a long day.
Twas the Night Before Christmas and all through the house....

Christmas Morning....what fun!
Such a Happy Baby!!
Family Match game on Christmas Day.
Nathan, Lori and Reese opening presents... Nathan wearing

his shot gun bag as a diaper/hand warmer. We got these for all

the boys.

Reese loved her little soft and cuddly lion.
Cotlon Finch came over and showed everyone how

to do reverse push ups and so everyone had to try.

Isaac was getting a little help from Uncle Ben. I have

all of the boys trying it on Video, I will make a CD and

get it to everyone.

Colton did it but then would not do it again so I

could get a picture of him, so Ben tried and you

can see how hard it really is. Colton, Ben, Nate and

I think Jake were able to do it, Lori and Caitlin tried

but could not come all the way up. They tried really hard.

Shot gun and clay shooting, a Miller tradition

that is always fun and surprising things always

happen, as the pictures will show....

Great shooting form David and Caitlin!!!
"Hurry up and pull, I am ready...."
Josh was a good shot all afternoon...
Nate making sure Lori was doing it right, she hit

the clay rabbits along the ground... Lori you remind

me of "Annie Oakley". That is a complement...

After all the shooting the boys started talking

about catching some of the clays....so David let the

clays fly as the boys tried to catch them... the first one

just about took off Caitlins head so he raised the thrower

and the fun really started. I also have a video of this....

Great style Benjamin.... Yes they were trying

to catch them and then Nate thought he would

try to hit one with a stick and when he hit it, it

shattered and cut his face....Lori posted a picture

that already.

Hitting clays with a stick is like shattering glass...

just ask Nathan!

Bike riding time for Aubree and Emilee...

Of course we had to have a Friendly game of Horse shoes.

Caitlin just chilling by the fire and crocheting her

hats for anyone that wanted one. She has really

taken to this and does and excellent job. They are

the neatest hats. So all in all we had a great Christmas

celebration and it was sad that it went so fast..
