Christmas was great this past year. Everyone was here except for Katie and Sam and their families. We sure did miss them. We can hardly wait until we can all be together again in the year 20?? We started off the season with trip to Anthem and the 100 foot tree there. Deanne and the children came early in the week and so we made cookies, dipped pretzels and set out Luminairos(spelling?) Jake came on Christmas Eve and we did the Night Before Christmas reading, goodies for Santa. Nate, Lori and Reese came on Christmas Day, along with Josh and Chani(spelling,sorry)and their children. Colton Finch and Jacob Hall, also part of the family, came over. Here are some pictures of the whole weekend....

Isaac was getting a little help from Uncle Ben. I have
all of the boys trying it on Video, I will make a CD and
get it to everyone.
Colton did it but then would not do it again so I could get a picture of him, so Ben tried and you
can see how hard it really is. Colton, Ben, Nate and
I think Jake were able to do it, Lori and Caitlin tried
but could not come all the way up. They tried really hard.

After all the shooting the boys started talking
about catching some of the clays....so David let the
clays fly as the boys tried to catch them... the first one
just about took off Caitlins head so he raised the thrower
and the fun really started. I also have a video of this....

try to hit one with a stick and when he hit it, it
shattered and cut his face....Lori posted a picture

taken to this and does and excellent job. They are
the neatest hats. So all in all we had a great Christmas
celebration and it was sad that it went so fast..

I certainly wasn't the one that knew about the reverse push-ups, I hadn't heard of them until that night. And I certainly WOULD have done another one, but I COULDN'T. My back and legs were too spastic after the first few tries. I'm just a sissy.
Although, in my defense, my team was undefeated at horseshoes that weekend, despite Dave's attempts at cheating by hiding the stake in his shadow.
Reese loves her little Lion and sleeps and snuggles with it for every nap and night time. It was the perfect gift!
And I'm not really sure who Annie Oakley is, but if it meens that I look offical with a shotgun, then I'll take it.
