BYE,BYE BUNIONS!!!

I had what they called a right Austin Bunionectomy.
Basically they took of the bunion and a bone spur on
my right foot. In 6-8 weeks they will do the left foot.
The following pictures show before and after and the
boot I will have to wear for at least 3 weeks. The
surgery went fine and as you can see I will have a
nice bumpless foot when it is all done. Finally I can
have a cute, almost, looking foot.

Up Up and away to Maryland!!!

We had a great time in Maryland. Lori showed
some of the sights and so I had a few I want to
share. The clouds are like another world and I
just had to take some pictures. They look so
light and fluffy and Heavenly.

So starting at Arlington we saw all of the sights!!!!
Anyone want to look for a National Treasure.
The stairs you saw in the movie National Treasure.
We must have walked over 30 miles, but
it was really worth it. Next time we will get
to visit all of the Museums. I was trying to
load a video of Dad and Nate boxing on the
Wii, but I guess it was to large to load, so
next time you come over I will show it to you.

On the road to San Antonio

This past weekend David and I went down to Marana to see Katie and Kevin and the grandkids. They are moving to San Antonio Texas. We picked Ben up in Chandler and took him with us. As you can see Uncle Ben was the big hit. So I took a couple of pictures. The real reason that Ben came with us, he was going to drive the volkswagon bus back up to Phoenix to Aaron's house. Katie and Kevin were selling it to a guy that was coming down from Colorado to look at it. As you can see from the next few pictures Kevin was having a hard time letting go of his prize possession. Its ok Kevin you can buy another one when you get to Texas.
Ben trying to get it started and put into reverse.

Kevin trying to help get the bus going.
One last hug and good bye! And away we go! Have fun Ben! Olivia helping take down the beds ! Do I have to get off of it? She wanted to play instead of take down the beds.
Ryley and Ben were over at a friends house while we were
loading the U-Haul truck and so we did not get any pictures
of them. We got the truck loaded in about an hour and then
it was time to go back to Camp Verde. Katie and Kevin made
it to San Antonio on Monday and now are trying to get everything
out of the boxes and begin another chapter in their life. Good
luck and we love you bunches. Mom and Dad.......Sorry we did
not have more pictures. Hopefully you guys took some on the way!

REUNION ON THE MOUNTAIN

Can you see the horses' head on the Blue mountain?
We always tried to find this when we use to come
up here for family reunions when everyone was little.
Grandpa can rub my back all day!
Oreo cookie break!
Strolling up the trail with Grandma and Grandpa.
Taking a hike, looking for the bear that was in the area.
No bear but the grass is almost as tall as Isaac.

Horseshoe tournament. Way to go Grandpa!
Nice technique Deanne, she took second place.
Caitlin with a double ringer. She still lost.
Great style grandma. Jake and Ben were trying to go into the championship
game. Ben won and he had to play Deanne for
Champioship. It was really close, but Ben won!!
What a great picture.
Isaac will be a great fisherman someday, he can
already carry the pole the right way. He looks
so grownup. Way to go Isaac!!

Hey! Where's the water. She did not want to walk
all the way up to the water. She was in the water
the whole weekend.

Jake's first fish. He caught it on his first cast. Is that luck or skill?
How many does it take to remove one small hook?
Grandpa's first fish. Way to go Grandpa!

Ben showing Caitlin how to cast.
Ben's first fish. Caitlin warmed the fish up!
They were unhappy because we would not let them throw rocks into the water.

Putting hooks on the line for Isaac.

I can throw the frisbee too! Just watch.
Grandpa taking a long awaited nap.
Riding indian style up to Foy Lake. We saw lots of cows.
Trying to lay still in the hammock was a challenge!

Watching Peter Pan just before dinner on Sat. night.
Corn on the cobb from Hauser farms. Aubree really got into it.
Is this the life or what? We could have stayed for another week!
On the way home we stopped by Gouldings trading post.
This also had a small museum on John Wayne and all the
movies that he made in Monument Valley. It was really neat.
We had a great time and only wish that all of the family could
have been there. Next year we hope everyone will be able to
get together for a reunion on the weekend closest to the 24th
of July. We have decided that will be the yearly date of the
Miller reunions. Hope to see everyone next year.
