"TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME......!

Chase ballpark D-Backs vs KC Royals. What a
great evening we had. Dave got tickets to the
ball game, except we had four tickets in a suite
(Budwieser) and then four tickets behind 3rd
base. The picture is taken from our seats that we
shared with Ben and Caitlin. Katie, Kevin and the
grandkids were up in the suite with all the food and
goodies. That way they could run around and play
instead of having to sit still.

Ben and Caitlin enjoying the game.
If you look real hard you can see Olivia and Ryley
with Kevin holding Olivia. This was the Budweiser suite.
Olivia having fun in the suite. The highlight of the evening, Ryley and Ben getting

to meet Baxter the Bobcat. Ballpark food and the crowd trying to do the wave.

We switched and took Ryley and Ben with us.

So much for the ballgame, it was much more fun

to wrestle with Uncle Ben. We had a great evening.

After the ballgame we went to a McDonald's for ice

cream for everyone. The grandkids were playing in the

Jungle gym and Katie had to go up and get Olivia because

she could not climb some of the inclines. All in all it was a great

evening and we wish we could do more before Katie and Kevin

leave for San Antonio. We love you guys. Mom and Dad

NO EXCUSES!!

No excuses, I really do like blogging except for the fact that I have to sit down and put the pictures on and then try to get them in the right order and then explain each picture. Dad and I have been busy as I am sure all of you have. We try to go places other than work and sleep whenever we can. The following pictures are an assortment of places, people and things we have done since my last blog in March, WoW, has it been that long since the last blog I did? David trip up to Lee's Ferry to go fly fishing.

dad looks like a fisherman and not a clown.

Yes, that is Shaque. I tried to get a close up but
he is big no matter how far away you are.

As you can see we have been doing a lot of things. You can also see that I still do not have this blogging down to a science, so please bare with me and try not to laugh to hard. I really did try to get rid of the extra picture. Dad and I have a lot of things coming up, so I hope to take lots of pictures so I can let you be a part of our adventures. In June we hope to get a suite at a Diamondbacks game and take the Mayberrys before they leave for Texas, Ben and Caitlin are coming, we hope. End of June dad and I are taking the YW 4th years on their overnight hike like we did lat year. In July we are going to go up to the Blue mountains, Monticello, and go camping with Jake and Deanne and Ben and Caitlin. If any of you can come you are welcome, but we do understand that Katie, Nate and Sam are either moving, finishing school or are working 24/7. We will definitley be thinking about you and take lots of pictures for you all to see. Then in July, dad and I are going to fly back to Maryland and see Nate, Lori, Sam and Rachel. I can hardly wait, although I am not real excited about the plane ride. I will just get a good book or watch a long movie. Well that is all for now. One of these days I will learn how to make my blog have some personality with color and backgrounds, until then just look at the pictures and pretend that you were there with us. Love all of you, Mom and Dad Miller

We are still alive!

I just wanted to let everyone know that dad and I are still alive and kicking. We have been very busy with tournament soccer and softball. Dad has had one tourmament and I spent last weekend in the wind blowing-cold Winslow Arizona at a softball tournament. My team did really good, we won 5 games and only lost 3. We took 4th in the tournament and had three girls chosen for all tournament team. The season is going good and I feel we will be competitive. I have been on spring break this week, although it has not been much of a break, I have had two games and three practices. But at least I have not had any students. It is hard to believe that Isaac is five
years old. I found some pictures of him and thought I would share. Isaac, you grandpa and I love you very much and miss you! We hope you had a great birthday and hope to see you soon. Love Grandpa and Grandma Miller

"A Little Heaven on Earth"

Last Friday on the long four day weekend, David and I were in Phoenix. I had to have some surgery on my right leg and after that we went our to dinner with Ben and Caitlin and then went to the movies. It was a great time and we enjoyed being out with Ben and Caitlin. My leg is fine and I will have the other leg done on March 3. After the movies we went home but before we did we went by a new soccer complex, unfortunately I did not take the pictures that night with all the fog on the fields, it was really cool and did look a little like Heaven. But on Saturday we went back down to Phoenix to watch the girls basketball team play the second round of state, and we went to the fields and took the following pictures. David was in Heaven, he could not believe how nice and how many fields there were. Eleven in all with one field as the premier field, it was done with astro turf, very nice. David wants to see if he can get next years state soccer play offs at this complex. The grass was not bermuda but good, nice grass as you can see.

After we watched our girls team loose in the second round to Pusch Ridge we decided that we would go to Prescott Valley and watch a movie. I guess that was not to be the case. We turned off at Cordes Junction and started towards Prescott Valley and I was on the phone talking to Nathan and I hear a sound like we hit something and then a swishing sound and then we were pulling over with a flat tire. The right rear passenger side tire was totally flat. Of course Dave knows how to change a tire, it is just that we had not had to do it on a 3/4 ton 4x4 truck. Luckily we had a spotlight, because the flashlight we had was basically dead. So as I am freezing and shaking and holding the light Dave and I began the 45 minute ordeal of changing the tire on the side of the road with traffic whizzing by. At least it was not raining or snowing just the wind blowing and about 40 degrees. Just as we were finishing a man stopped behind us and asked if he could help, I had been silently praying for some help. He had a 4 way tire iron and that helped and he lifted the flat tire into the truck. By the time we got over to the theatre the next showing of Jumper was not until 10:30pm and so we just went to Pizza Hut and had a nice dinner. I gues we were just tryint to do to much in one day. So while I was holding the light and freezing I also took the following pictures, David of course did all the work. I am sure glad he was there because I could not have even lifted the tire to get it on or off the truck. It had to of weighed at least 200lbs., or so it seemed. David is up coaching his tournament soccer team in a friendly game with a team from Sedona. He is sick but you know how much he loves soccer. The weather today is clear and blue, blue skies, but cold. We had rain on Wednesday night. Hope everyone enjoys the pictures. Sam and Rachel you need to update your blog, please. Love mom and dad.

"The Calm Before the Storm"

Saturday David and I decided to get out of the house
while the weather was good. We went up on the mountains
that are to the left of I-17 called Copper Canyon to go ATV
riding. We took some awesome pictures from the trip going
up and coming down. The very next day, Sunday, we woke
up to a drizzling rain, so we got our ride in just before the storm
hit.

First time wearing my helmet.
